I think I've entered the Twilight Zone

The weather forecast for Seattle from today through Friday, July 2: Sunny. Weird, yet amazing!
We spent the night in Butte, Montana. We chose Butte because Joe's internship he has had since the beginning of the school year main office is here. We met the staff yesterday and then went to a nice dinner with them. Great italian restaurant called After 5. It's a small place that you walk up a flight of stairs to get inside (sorta Old Chicago, Petaluma, CA like). Small menu with a handful of appetizers and 7 entrees. Why? We were told that anyone who comes knows if you don't see something you want, or want something changed, you just come in and saw what you want that evening and the server rights your name on the ticket so the cooks know just what you want and how you like it. Very cool! Now, Joe is at the office and I'm getting things finished up at the hotel. When we head out, we'll have 593 miles until Seattle via Interstate 90.

Photos from the trip so far

Our new car!

One of the truck's in Kansas that Joe's uncles use.

A huge tractor. I rode in it later on, and Joe was in the other one. After riding in the conbine, I went in the semi and we took the grain over to the elevator. I felt like such a farmer at the end of the day :)

Pretty lake as we were driving through WY. I swear I saw 50 dear or more as we drove through the entire state today.

We were murdering bugs left and right. I swear, we used to have a wonderfully clean windshield, and then the bugs of the midwest came from every direction. I scrubbed the windshield and headlights, but the front of the car is still disgusting. Ugh!

The beautiful Colorado Rockies (our view in Montana).
Billings, MT
Joe and I are scratchig these mosquito bites like crazy, grrr. Spent the might in Wheatland, WY. Super nice people and decent continental breakfast. Just entered Montana!

Yesterday: church, breakfast with 20+ family members, "toured" Odin, KS with Mom, gorgeous and fun bridal shower (thanks ladies!), lunch out by the field with tractors, and lots more visiting.
Today: succesfully registered for classes, great dinner, took Mom to airport, and now on the road about to reach Colorado soon. I-70 is as straight and boring as I-5. That is all for now.

38 miles from our desination! In Ellsworth, hoping not to be pulled over :)
50 miles to KS. We've snacked, stopped for a fill up, and are pleased to find out sunset isn't until 9pm. The car is doing well, and we packed Otto the brim. Looking forward to being with Kansas folk and seeing Mom in seven hours!
From the female voice.
Just crossed into MO. So car we've seen lots of fields, pigs, cows, barns, and small towns. We've figured out the navigation system in the car so
Joe is getting directions fr
